Loan modification is a great way to request assistance and understanding from your lender in case your house is being foreclosed upon. However, there are three things that we always emphasize to anyone who is considering this remedy.

First, no one can legally charge you, the homeowners, an upfront fee to file and apply for the loan modification package on your behalf until it has been approved by the lender.

Secondly, you must have sufficient income for the new payment, or the bank will reject your application if you don’t, regardless of how many times you try.

And lastly, filing a loan modification application DOES NOT automatically stop or postpone your foreclosure, even if you’re in the process of waiting for the lenders to get back to you with an answer.

When working with us, we ONLY charge you upon the verified success of the loan modification and the full discharge of the foreclosure with foreclosing lenders. The loan modification must comfortably fit within your current income level, or we don’t bill you at all.
